School of Management mission focuses on four major themes: entrepreneurship,
global competitiveness, leadership, and technology management. Select one of
these themes and discuss its meaning to you and its relevance to your
background. Your essay should be approximately 200 words in length.

The
Syracuse curriculum places considerable emphasis on leadership and teamwork.
Describe your contributions to a group or organization with which you have
been associated, and explain how your experiences will enable you to
contribute to the program. Your essay should be approximately 200 words in

Without references to your academic record or
GMAT score, discuss the most compelling reason for your admission to the
M.B.A. or M.S. program. Your essay should be approximately 200 words in

Describe one or more activities you pursue in
your leisure time and why those activities are important to you. Your essay

for M.B.A. applicants)M.B.A. concentrations are offered in eight
areas: accounting, finance, marketing management, global entrepreneurship,
innovation management, management of technology, supply chain management,
and general management. In which one or two areas might you concentrate your
study and why? Your essay should be approximately 200 words in length.
6. (Required
for M.S. accounting and m.s. finance applicants)Discuss
your career plans at this time and how the Master of Science degree relates
to your career objectives. Your essay should be approximately 200 words in
length.
