Management Accounting and Control
This course is designed to introduce students to the important role
management accounting can play in helping managers make informed decisions.
In particular, the course emphasizes modern theories of product cost,
performance measurement, and management control systems. It uses cases to
describe real-world problems and to illustrate such concepts as
activity-based cost systems, productivity measurement, and total quality.
